These Are the Dresses You Need to Take on Your Next European Vacation

Posted by Claire Erickson on

Try as you might, it is hard to get the European style down if you're from America. I know I struggled trying to prepare before moving abroad. We can Pinterest all we want, but if we do not have the right pieces, we will definitely stand out as tourists on our next vacation. We want to make sure we are safe from pick-pocketers and extremely stylish at the same time, and what better way to do so than investing in one of the perfect dresses below?!

1. Boho Polka-Dot Dress

A favorite pattern by the royal family of England, polka-dots are classic and simple. But the thing that gives this dress the European factor is not only its length, but also its wrap around style-- a signature of the Belgium-born Diane von Furstenberg. Once a princess herself, you can be sure you will look elegant and fashionable when you wear this DVF style dress abroad.

Wear some simple, slide sandals with this dress, and complete the look with a wicker bag.

COLORS: Orange, Yellow

2. Vintage Lover Dress

Longer dresses are a staple in European attire, so this dress should fit perfectly into your collection. The button detail down the front of the dress is very Italian, while the print on the dress screams English.

Some natural makeup and a blow out will is impeccable for this outfit.

3. Jeans on Fridays Dress

The European style is characteristic of looking like design and refinement are achieved with no effort when there is a lot of care that goes into each and every piece of clothing put together. It can be accomplished by taking better care of your clothes, having more neutral colors in your wardrobe, or purchasing garments that can be easily dressed up or down like this Jeans on Fridays dress.

To dress up this staple, add a wider belt to your waist, some chunky bracelets on your wrist, and a clutch to carry. To make this look more relaxed, add your favorite brown shoulder bag, and oversized cardigan, and some ankle boots.
