Afraid of Prints? 5 Dresses to Help You Dominate the Trend

Posted by Claire Erickson on

It's hard to miss that animal prints, whether they be cheetah or the up-and-coming zebra, are dominating the street style scene right now, but that does not mean that those are the only print trends you need to try. There are trends in all areas of clothing!

Especially if animal prints aren't your style, we have some office appropriate prints, prints for vacation, and (if you're willing to step out of your comfort zone) bold prints including a classic houndstooth dress!

1. Fun in the Sun Dress

Looking for the perfect dress to pack on your next sunny destination vacation? Well, look no further! Our Fun in the Sun Dress is easy to pack, and is made of a light fabric for those hot days tanning at the beach.

Coming in three different colors allows this dress to be styled so many different ways! However, some stacked rings and bangles should do the trick fo this printed beauty.

COLORS: Black, Green, Pink

SIZES: S - XL

2. Geometric Biz Dress

One of the most common prints seen in business now are modern, geometric shapes with unique color palettes. If you have been looking to try this out, then our Geometric Biz Dress is perfect for you. The black, navy, and white colors are easy to pair with most accessories, and the pop of pink is similar enough to nude to be matched with a good pair of beige heels or light pink, diamond earrings.

Another great way to accessorize this dress is with some layered necklaces that lay beautifully within the V-neck. Wear your hair up for a busy day doing business, and take it down for a night out dancing with your girl friends.

SIZES: S - XL

3. Boho Flow Leopard Dress

Cheetah print is a popular trend right now, but the market is shifting towards more animal prints for some added diversity. So, what a better come back to make than the zebra print? What is great about this dress is its similarity to the texture of wood-- making it a more natural, comfortable print than a bold statement.

Because of the cut of the skirt and the delicateness of the bodice, a nice blowout and some simple makeup should complete the look.

SIZES: S - XL

4. Leopard Bell Dress

The cheetah print trend has been in full swing for almost a year now. Whether it was inspired by the Cheetah Girls, or by the elegance of high society in the 1960s, cheetah print has made a revival, and seems as though it is here to stay for quite awhile. Might as well try it out!

This dress is perfect for first trying out the trend, because of its simple silhouette. If the print is too much for you, throw on a solid color cardigan over the top of the dress, or embrace the trend by adding some pointed-toe heels and some stacked bracelets.

SIZES: S - 2XL

5. Sassy and Classy Dress

The florals and animal prints still too much for you? Then try the classic houndstooth print! The black and white pattern is easy to match with any bag or pair of shoes, and the print has been office appropriate for decades. The sweetheart neckline, short sleeves, and bell skirt are reminiscent of the 1950s, so this dress is sure to add some glamour into your everyday office attire.

Pair with a tote to carry your laptop into work, and add a bold, red lip to spice up your drink date after hours.

COLORS: Black

SIZES: S - 3XL
