Look Like a Star in These Striped Dresses

Posted by Claire Erickson on

If you're like me, then you like to plan ahead. Once I know summer is here, I immediately start to look for my perfect outfit for the Fourth of July. And who doesn't? There will be plenty of pictures taken either by family or friends, so make sure you look your best!

These dresses are perfect for any barbecue or fireworks celebration you may attend!

1. TGIF Dress

I love when an article of clothing has all the colors in a color scheme I need to complete a look. It saves you money, and makes it easier to shop. That is why I am obsessed with this dress!

Not only do the stripes resemble those on the American flag, but it has a playful element with the off-the-shoulder poofy sleeves. The icing on the cake is the belt to match the dress pattern. It accentuates your waist and eliminates the need to buy more accessories.

To complete this Fourth of July look, add some layered necklaces with blue accents and espadrilles for the perfect summery touch.

2. Spicy Rainbow Dress

Don't want to wear red, white, or blue, but still can't decide on what color you want to wear? No problem! This Spicy Rainbow Dress has every color under the sun, and the ruffles have some beautiful movement when you are playing bags with your friends or dancing to Firework by Katy Perry. Also, the light, linen-like fabric is perfect for those hot summer nights.

Add some gladiator sandals and bangles to finish out the look!

3. Little Back Bow Dress

If red is too bold for you, try this neutral navy and white dress for your Fourth of July celebration. The bow detailing in the back is feminine, and fitting for your casual barbecue. Also, the vertical white stripes lengthen the body to make any figure appear thinner.

Let your hair down for this ensemble, and add some nude wedges to celebrate America's birthday!

4. Denim Doll Dress

Pinstripe-- classic, sporty, elegant. What a better pattern for the Fourth of July?! Not only is the pinstripe a showstopper, but the denim fabric is also unique for your event. And if that is not enough, just take a look at those sleeves!

Add a belt to show off your curves and a simple pair of heels or sandals, so the dress and your smile stand out.
